Not just yes, but Hell, yes.

I've been pumping for a merger of the ITP and OOTP games for years now. Recognizing that some people have a poor opinion of role playing, all you'd need is to add one check box upon league setup.

At the point where the setup wizard asks whether you want a fictional game, or an historical, add the option for 'fictional with role playing (ITP)'. I can't see roleplaying working well with either an historical or a modern MLB universe.
