Ruthlandian Union Picks #1 Rookie
Bryan Frazier's age didn't show very often in his first year. He performed more like a veteran on the hill for the Far Mountain Redhawks and today he walked away with the 2015 Ruthlandian Union Rookie of the Year Award. The 21-year-old starter registered a 21-11 record this season in 37 starts. Over 297 innings he gave up 235 hits, struck out 187 and issued 115 walks as he held the opposition to a .222 batting average and fashioned a 3.12 ERA. The Redhawks wound up second to Taranto in the RU North race.

Dennis Townsend was the runner-up to Frazier. Townsend led Marston to the RU East flag with 20-13 mark and a 3.40 ERA. Third in the balloting was Forest City's George Arnick. The 21-year-old catcher hit .306 with 18 homers and 76 runs batted in.
