2017 IPA All-Star Game at Kraft Stadium in Eastshore

TU Stars Win 4-3 On Belasario's 11th Inning HR
Tycobbia's dominance in IPA All-Star Game competition continued with its fourth triumph in a row... at Kraft Stadium in Eastshore, LF Rocco Belasario (Arlon) smacked an 11th-inning homer off Earl Pitts (Rocky Rapids) to give the Tycobbian All-Stars a 4-3 victory over the Ruthlandian All-Stars... Tycobbia has won 13 of the 17 games so far... Woody Price (South Fork) notched the win with 2 scoreless innings... Price retired all 6 men he faced, striking out 2 of them... the TU Stars got 9 hits to 6 for the RU Stars... Ruthlandia took the lead 2-0 in the opening frame on RBIs by RF Augie Marshall (Taranto) and CF Joe DeLucca (Volusia), only to have Tycobbia come back in the fourth with 3 runs on SS Jud Turchin's (Hartsdale) 2-run smash and an RBI single by RF Danny Redd (Tuckanarra)... it remained 3-2 until the top of the ninth when Ruthlandian 1B Phil Gravelli (Crystal Lake) doubled and came in to score on a two-base error by 3B Andre Dumas (Ozarka)... that evened the score at 3-all and sent the game into overtime... Belasario was named the game's MVP.
