We have a Statslab 11 draft timer issue that I wonder if anyone else has noticed.
Our Statslab draft timer settings:
- Time Per Pick (min): 360 (6 hrs).
- 'Adjust Pick Time With Each Pick' is checked.
- Timer Starts At: 06:01
- Timer Stops At: 23:59
This works great until someone makes a manual pick between midnight & 6 PM. When that occurs then the 'Adjust Pick Time With Each Pick' setting seems to override the Timer Starts/Stops settings.
Example: At 9 PM the current pick would be listed correctly as "Pick is due no later than 2011-03-02 12:01" [Pick due at noon the next day]. But if some one makes a manual pick at 00:45 (12:45 AM) the new current pick is listed incorrectly as "Pick is due no later than 2011-03-02 06:45" [Pick due at 6:45 AM that morning].
Note: It's also possible that any manual selections after 6 PM will also cause our 'Adjust Pick Time With Each Pick' setting to override the Timer Starts/Stops settings. There is minimal draft pick logging done by Statslab so to check this out one needs to monitor it manually or set up a test draft, but I can at least confirm I have seen examples like the one listed above.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any work around or suggestions? It seems to me 'Adjust Pick Time With Each Pick' needs to be checked as otherwise a draft is going to take far too long with 6 hour pick windows. Currently our work around is to avoid using the draft timer and trying to manually auto any delayed picks, but that is an awkward and sometimes unfair practise. Another option (not popular with owners) is to run the draft 24/7, and tough luck if your pick is due at 5 AM

.
Any other idea's would be welcome, and let me know if any clarification on this issue is needed.
