Brooklyn Shut out by McBride
Monday, April 10th, 1871: "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said the Brooklyn manager after watching Dick McBride of the Cincinnati Reds humiliate his club 6-0 in a fine 6-hit shutout.
