Fisler Batters Boston Big Time
Sunday, April 23rd, 1871: The Brooklyn Atlantics swept past the Boston Red Stockings 13-4 today at South End Grounds I and were paced by second baseman Wes Fisler. The 29-year-old Fisler got 5 hits in 6 at-bats, helping to send Boston down to defeat.
