Forest Citys Burroughs Out of Action
Friday, June 16th, 1871: Cleveland center fielder Henry Burroughs left today's game with a ruptured finger tendon. The injury looked like it occurred making a defensive play in the game against St. Louis. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Forest Citys without Burroughs for about 4 months.
