Season's Best Fielders Selected by RU
It's been said that the best offense is a good defense. That's why contending teams are always looking to improve on the defensive side of the game. Keeping runs from scoring is just as good as driving them in. Vic Valenti of the Beechwood Bobcats was honored for the 4th time and Warren Fisher of the Elnora All-Stars took home his second Golden Glove. The rest of the award winners were first timers. Two rookies were named to the team: pitcher Adam Aru of Valka and outfielder Stan Saunders of Fort Benton.
