Tycobbian Union Announces Golden Glove Award Winners
"Ball hawk" is a good name for the members of the defensive elite, the players who make leather shine. The fielders who crashed the wall, leaped in the air, and dived in the hole better than any others during 2023 have been tabbed as the Tycobbian Union's Golden Glove Award winners. Topping the team was Bayview's Norm Owens, who picked up his 8th Golden Glove, followed by Derek Ryckman of Cape Coral, who won for the 5th time, and Bud Walker of Bay St. Clair, a 4-time recipient. Other multiple winners were Crash Davis of Ginza and James Mack of Red Bluff. They were named for the second time in their careers.
