IPA All-Stars Picked
It's All-Star Game time -- time for the superstars to shine! Every year the Islandian Pro Alliance takes a break in the schedule to play the annual All-Star Game. It's a battle of the superstars -- the Ruthlandian Union All-Stars versus the Tycobbian Union All-Stars. For the second straight year the All-Star Classic will be held at Tuckanarra's Central Park Stadium, home of the IPA champion Blue Jays, this Wednesday afternoon. Tycobbian has a decided edge in the All-Star competition, winning the last four games in a row and 18 of the 24 games so far.

There are 18 first-timers on the Ruthlandian Stars and 15 on the Tycobbian Stars with only 3 rookies. The RU Stars will have freshmen Kyle Hunt and Lloyd Kelly and the TU Stars will have Don Pascioni. Nicky Engstrom is back for his 12th All-Star appearance for Tycobbian and Paul Shelton is making his 7th game for Ruthlandia. Other repeaters are Crash Davis (10th), Bucky O'Brian (10th), Andy Pearson (10th), all for the TU Stars. Tycobbia also has Danny Redd (6th), Marty Blake (6th), Clell Renshaw (4th), Jim Schubert (4th), Sal Jordan (3rd), Tommy Shore (3rd), Dennis Hartwig (3rd), Rusty Vizcarra (2nd), Koora Nawajuk (2nd), Rusty Graves (2nd) and Rob Gigler (2nd).

The RU Stars with multiple All-Star appearances are Russ Woodward (6th), Les Patterson (6th), Todd Nasso (5th), Duncan Welch (4th), Donnie Lewis (4th), Pete Gibbs (3rd), Eddie Darby (3rd), Shannon White (2nd), Rob Buckley (2nd), Kees Draeger (2nd) and Jan Kessinger (2nd).
