The first two pics in okcochise's "mystery White Sox" post seem to be spring training shots, given that the player is wearing 62 (or 63) and no Sox had a number that high in any of those seasons.

The one in the road uniform, however…he appears to have a "1" on his sleeve, but that could also be a "4". (The Sox used a font where the 4 thickened at the base, as in the picture.) Zooming in reveals that "48" is on the bat handle. Lamar Johnson wore 48 during his '74 call-up, but he's disqualified by race. So that leaves Rick Reichardt:

I'm not entirely sold, though; Rick's the right body type, but his nostrils seem to flare more than the mystery player's in that picture. Perhaps it's someone who borrowed one of Rick's bats? Difficult to tell.
