2026 IPA September Standings
7 Races Almost Decided, Only One Close
Going into September, there are not many pennants up for grabs in the Islandian Pro Alliance. Out of the 8 divisions, only one is in doubt. The other 7 are pretty much decided with the leaders holding at least a 5-game lead going into the final 19 games of the season.
The hottest race is in the Tycobbian South where the Ginza Ninjas have a 2-game edge over the Arroyo Grande Suns and a 5-game lead on the third place Colchester Elites. The Suns are making a late-season run at Ginza, who had an 8-game bulge going into August. In the next closest race, the Tycobbian North, the Mahaska Haymakers top the Fairfax Frogs by 5 games and the White River Rascals by 6. The remaining divisions seem to be just playing out the string. Tuckanarra has a 6-game margin over the current Pro Cup champion South Fork Stallions in the TU East and the Rolling Hills Reds lead Chicopee by the same margin in the TU West. The Reds rallied from fourth place and 5 games back at mid-season.
Over in the Ruthlandian Union, the best contest is in the RU North, where Valmara is up by 6 games on Ancona. The rest of the division leaders have big leads going in the final month. In the RU South surprising St. John has built up a solid 9-game edge over Waleska. Middlefield is still running away with the RU West, 9 games in front of Stoner. In the RU East, Beechwood finished with a second-half flourish and swept past Wynnamac and Eastshore, the first-half leaders. The Bobcats are 8 games ahead of the Sundowners and 9 up on the Elegants.
