Here we have a case of two Georges with mistaken identities. The IDs for George Darby 1893 and George Ulrich 1892, posted late last year, were reversed. Both were posted again with the same IDs, Darby earlier this year and Ulrich last month.

The photos were taken from an 1894 Kansas City Cowboys team photo, shown below with IDs. The photo IDs, apparently written by Darby himself, indicate that Darby is shown lower-left, while Ulrich is shown lower-right. Further supporting the Darby-left ID, are the words "G W Darby" written on the right arm of the lower-left player. I did an ear comparison between the lower-left player and a known woodcut of Darby from the 14-Jun-1890 Sporting News (Thanks to SABR for providing the woodcut!), likewise shown below, which also supports the Darby ID.

I have added the lower-left player to the facepack as Darby 1893 and the lower-right player as Ulrich 1892 (90x135 clips shown below respectively), and added a link to this post to each of the earlier posts.
