RU Names Golden Glove Award Choices for 2026
"Ball hawk" is a good name for the members of the defensive elite, the players who make leather shine. The fielders who crashed the wall, leaped in the air, and dived in the hole better than any others during 2026 have been tabbed as the Ruthlandian Union's Golden Glove Award winners. Travis Glass of Elnora and Kyle Hunt of Ranford were honored for the second time in their careers. First baseman Roger Lanier of St. John and Ken Arby of Beechwood were the only rookies named to the team this season. All others were first-time winners.
