Frank Ringo was the opening day (May 1) catcher of the Philadelphia Quakers (Phillies) in their inaugural season (1883) - So you could say he caught the first pitch in Phillies history.A surviving photo of him, almost 130 years later, probably doesn't exist - but I thought I'd check with OOTP.
