Monday, January 21st, 1907: The Senators pulled out all the stops today to announce the signing of shortstop George Davis. The 36-year-old is one of the game's preeminent playmakers and has definitely proven why he was such an attractive signing.

The contract is a 4-year deal worth $23,800.
