As mentioned upthread, I went looking for more shots of Tony C. in 1971 (lowercase) Angels gear and, really, didn't find much. Herewith my meager bounty:
No, you can't see the lowercase "a" (or "angels") in the second picture (and barely in the first). I simply included the second picture because I like the "Tony C." on Conigliaro's back; apparently in 1971 there wasn't any regulation about being cutesy like that. (In Wilt Chamberlain's first autobiography, there's a picture of him dunking on Elvin Hayes, who simply has "E" [including the quotation marks] on his uni's back.) I doubt that would be allowed now, though.
