I would prefer to keep all photos in the same thread as it is now. I can understand the attraction of the concept of organising images by decade to those whose interest is confined or concentrated on particular eras. I can also understand the attraction of sorting contributions by era to those who are relative newcomers to the site. I also firmly acknowledge the desirability for the site to be organised in such a way to encourage the active participation and involvement for as many contributors as possible. However from my perspective I would very much prefer to just go to one thread rather than plough through numerous threads to review recent contributions on a daily basis. I would also endorse the reservation that management of the threads is likely to be more involved than the current model.
Incidentally for the same reasons I also have significant reservations in the precedence being set for individuals having their own threads for contributions to this project.
