I'm not trying to pass value judgement on whether or not a fix is worth it. Just trying to clarify the scope of the problem. I also doubt you really need to do this every day to have a satisfactory effect since, as was mentioned by others, AI teams are probably not scrambling to re-sign their fringe players mid-season.

You would be surprised at some of the players that get placed on waivers at times.
