Oh I'm not. I've already posted that I want the block fixed. The disagreement in this thread has been about the
actual disadvantage to the AI. In this case it can be clearly shown that the AI is attempting to get rid of players that are not of use and is trying to reduce its financial exposure to players that may be arbitration eligible and even those that are on auto renewal. There is no disadvantage. In fact the proper course for human and AI would be to sign cheaper younger and better upside players while reducing payroll slightly.
The very rare instances you seem so enthused about could be considered a bug in and of themselves. I think I'll make a note to check out any instances in v13.
