Jim Marshall - 1958
This photo of Marshall with the Red Sox apparently was taken in the spring of 1960. Marshall was traded from the Cubs to Boston in November, 1959, along with Dave Hillman, in exchange for Dick Gernert.
It seems he didn't impress the Red Sox too much as they swapped him and Sammy White to Cleveland for Russ Nixon on March 16, 1960. Marshall refused to report to the Indians and the trade was voided. Nine days later he was sent to San Francisco for Al Worthington. He never played a regular season game for Boston.
