when you created the league or under AA League Options & Rules what day did it have opening day as? If you created your league in the offseason i believe it will start the season during the winter months, atleast I believe thats what it did when I created the Australian league.
To stop it go to the AAA league schedule and delete all the games, and then make sure OD is set for around the same time as your MLB.
There might be another way to do this but i can't think of and dont have time to test this til tomorrow.
