Top Defenders Win Golden Gloves
Not every player can swing a big bat or influence the game on the mound, so they do it with their Golden Gloves. The IPA today announced the 2029 Golden Glove performers for the Ruthlandian and Tycobbian Unions. Good glovemen take pride in their defensive skills. They know they make a difference in winning and losing. Even on days when they don't get a hit, they can make a difference with their gloves.
The RU announced its Golden Glove Award honorees. Todd Nasso of the Ancona Red Elephants was named for the third time in his career, while Roger Lanier of the St. John Crusaders picked up his second Gold Glove. All the rest are first time recipients.
