3. Members who will use a complete make-over when a particular pose or player/team combination is not readily available.

As a baseball historian, I primarily reside in the first group, occasionally dipping into the second group (the skill of our resident colorizers has me experimenting in this second group much more often than I had previously considered). These, however, are simply my personal preferences.

There is room here for all of the above mentioned groups, as well as any others I have inadvertently missed. Every contribution is appreciated and I encourage everyone to participate, whatever your particular interests may be.
I also consider myself as a baseball historian. If I may submit a different perspective. Baseball has always been played in colored uniforms and it was just the limitation of the image reproducing technology present at the time that turned it into a black and white era. I am very much of the viewpoint that I first saw voiced by Matt Fulling that colorization brings that image very much to life. I believe we should try and research uniform details and build up a uniform information database, extending the current one if possible to the 19th century so that we can, as much as possible, present an accurate representation of images as they were really were, not as the limitations of technology showed them to be.

I am enormously appreciative of those who are contributing to this thread in such a skilled manner in respect of their colorizations.
