Mazeroski reaches plateau
In a 3-1 victory by the Royals over the Orioles, Bill Mazeroski reached the 2000 hit plateau. Maz went 1-4 as the Royals completed their second straight sweep of the talented Orioles. In fact the club has won 8 while only losing 2 in the month of May.
