This will be my first foray into a solo career league. I am excited by the new game and new features!

I am thinking of starting an historical league using the new random debut feature. Is there a way starting with 1871 so that the structure the major leagues will automatically evolve through, e.g., the formation of the AL in 1901 all the way to present-day structure.

Also, I am thinking of using player development 'off', 3-year recalc after each season, pitch/fielding using current year stats, random L/R splits disabled, potential on remaining years of career, base fielding and stamina on imported season. Any recommendations for changes for these?
