Had the same issue with my Mac. I am going to explain this the best I can so I am sorry in advance if I confuse you. You have to open your OOTP installer icon and instead of opening it from the application folder you open it from the OOTP icon itself.
Not sure why. Can't take much credit for any of this, but I had this problem and between tech support and my wife the figured it out.
