Contract Question
I just picked up someone that was on the waiver wire who still has multiple years left on their contract, my question is if I release them during him during the off-season and someone else signs them (which I am sure someone will), am I still on the hook for the rest of the contract or does it go away if someone signs him.
I think I already know the answer but looking for confirmation.
