I am starting a Major League quick-start game with the Pittsburgh Pirates. My computer is in terrible condition, and both of my previous save files got corrupted. After this beginning post, there won't be anything for a little while until after it comes back from getting the hard drive replaced, but I am going to start this up in the meantime.

I am choosing the Pirates because I like playing with teams who are in a bad situation, and rebuilding them (my last 2 games were the Padres and Twins). I probably won't be making my posts in a legitimate news style format like some people, because my narrative skills are not the best. I will most likely be doing a bi-weekly update on my team, and notable things that happen to the rest of the league. I will start it off with an overview of my 40 man roster though.

The settings I will be using are a 1-20 scale in all ratings, normal scouting accuracy, injuries on high, aging and development will be on default, the talent change randomness will be 110, the AI player evaluation is at 37/40/16/7, and trading preferences are Average/Hard/Neutral. I will also account for slight inflation every year, probably between 1-5%, the day before the off-season begins.

I'll use a custom award, and let you guys choose what the award is. It can be either Comeback Player of the Year (comeback from injury, or poor season), Breakout Player of the Year (player has 1st star year, after not doing a lot beforehand), or Most Popular Player Award (highest national popularity + winning team, big market, and longtime with one team help), or another idea someone thinks of.

My updates will be on the 1st and 15th of each month, and if something huge happens, or there is a big event like the draft or the All-Star game, I will post about those too.
