[Batter] hopes to kick-start a rally...
for the Wolverines...
here in the top of the ninth...
he's gone 1 for 3 at the plate.
[Pitcher] throwing to [Batter]...
here it is...
[Batter] swings...
stroked to left --
a base hit for [Batter].
And the Detroit will not go down...
without a fight.

(needs to either be 'Detroit' or 'the Wolverines.')
