New York, Philadelphia Confirm Deal
Sunday, June 17th, 1923

Newspapers in New York and Philadelphia reported that the Giants have reached a deal sending 26-year-old second baseman Cliff Brady and a 1st round draft pick to the Phillies for 27-year-old third baseman Andy Woehr and 22-year-old minor league right fielder George McNamara.

This season Brady has no home runs and a .355 batting average.
