The 08 Rays pull the big upset by beating the 79 Pirates in four straight games behind some strong pitching. The Rays had a 1.95 team ERA and Scott Kasmir was especially strong in game three at Tropicana Field. Stars for the Bucs like Dave Parker hit under .200 and the Pirates failed to hit one home run in the entire series.
