The Frank Ringo photo is a real find, even if it is in less than pristine condition.
He was the opening day catcher in the Phillies first season of 1883 and there was no photographic record of him heretofore..
I'm glad someone has finally tracked down (photographically) the man who caught the first pitch in Phillies history.
