2033 Ruthlandian Union Mid-Season Standings
Two upstart teams are creating the most attention in the Ruthlandian Union at the halfway point in the season. The Belle Plaine Musketeers (46-27) sport the best record in the league and are surprisingly atop the RU East, while the St. John Crusaders (45-28) have the second-best record and the lead in the RU South. The Muskies are coming off two bad seasons deep in the second division, but have suddenly caught fire. The Crusaders have been improving in recent years and now are ready to take it to the next level. Two regular contenders, the LaGrange Sports (43-30) and the Fort Benton Defenders (42-31), are resting in first place in the RU North and RU West respectively. Last season LaGrange, Claxton, Elnora and Colfax took the division titles. The All-Stars (43-30) and Blasters (36-37) are still in the hunt, but the Diamonds (31-42) have faltered miserably and fallen into the RU South basement.
