The current Keough/Cubs picture is a B&W profile shot, so a face-on color pic is definitely a step up.
Except that it's got a case of the Topps Excessively-Red syndrome, and I haven't been able to cure it properly.

Here's as good as I've gotten, with the original as a reference point:

I'm sure someone with better skills can improve on my "work" here. (I tried to use an editing program, but I don't know how to separate the face so that I can get the skin tone correct without over-blueing the uniform, for example. I only know how to filter the image as a whole, not the component parts.)
Interesting to see Keough wearing a road uniform with "Chicago" in red letters, outlined in blue; according to Dressed to the Nines, the Cubs wore blue-outlined-in-red until they changed to simple blue lettering in '69. Variant uniform, or does the Hall have the color scheme wrong?
Also, wtf happened to Keough's face? He wasn't nearly this wizened with Cincinnati in 1962 or '63 (can't tell the year by the uniform, but that's the Polo Grounds behind him):
Apparently, life in Cincinnati takes a lot out of you. Who knew?
