TU Triumphs 6-1 In IPA All-Star Clash
The Tycobbian Stars made quick work of the Ruthlandian Stars 6-1 in the IPA All-Star Game at Elnora's State Fair Park with standout pitching and timely hitting... it was the TU's second win in a row and third in four years... overall Tycobbia has won 23 of the 34 games.

The hits were even in the game as both clubs collected 9 hits each... the TU All-Stars were paced by C Paco Diaz (Arlon) with 2 hits and a run scored and by 2B Todd Goodwin (Chicopee), who doubled across 2 runs in the seventh... Paco Diaz and Todd Goodwin shared the MVP Award... 3B Antonio Diaz (Volusia) and 1B Johnny Zaun (St. John) had 2 hits apiece for the RU All-Stars... Dave Michael (North Hills) got the win with a scoreless third inning and Tommy Smith (Volusia) picked up the loss when he allowed the first run of the game in the third.

Ruthlandia never was in the game as Tycobbia jumped up 1-0 after three frames, 2-0 after four and sealed the win with 3 runs in the seventh to make it 5-0... both clubs scored single runs in the ninth.
