IPA Heads Into Sept, Only 2 Tight Races
Not too many tight pennant races in the Islandian Pro Alliance going into the last few weeks of the season... in the Ruthlandian North the Ranford Bulls have overtaken the Far Mountain Redhawks, but it's close... the Bulls are up barely by just two games... Ancona is in the third spot and trails by six... the only other tight race is also in the Ruthlandian Union... Crystal Lake has a slight two-game edge over St. John in the RU South with Belair Beach six games off the pace... In the RU East the Eastshore Elegants are up by seven over the Beechwood Bobcats... and in the RU West the Volusia Vigilantes are in front of the Middlefield Roosters by six games.
Three of the divisions in the Tycobbian Union are pretty much decided with Tuckanarra holding a 14-game bulge over second-place Ozarka in the TU East... the Chicopee Braves and the San Alejo Montaneros have solid 11-game margins in the TU West and TU South respectively... no one is likely to catch any of them... the TU North is still up for grabs, but the North Hills Hawks are ahead of runner-up White River by five games.
