The last stop for "Scrap Iron" as a player was across the Bay from where he broke in. This picture is a possible replacement for the B/W image in the Batters Pack.
Even more importantly, it shows that the famous "Yosemite Sam" mustache grew back quickly after Phil shaved it with the Dodgers the previous year.
(He's still clean-shaven in the B/W Giants picture, which was probably from spring training.)
