RU Golden Glove Award Winners Announced
It's been said that the best offense is a good defense. That's why contending teams are always looking to improve on the defensive side of the game. Keeping runs from scoring is just as good as driving them in. Shortstop Larry Romney won the honor for the third time in his career and pitcher Warren Noland has been named twice. Two rookies made the squad: second baseman Johnny Hensley and third sacker Taylor Hampshire.
