The first quarter of the season clearly has not gotten off to the start envisioned by Mr. Stuart and myself as evidenced by our fourth place in the division. Tampa appears to be running away with the NL Central at this point. The minor league teams are floundering at the same pace as we are with the best record at 16-16. Our top prospects are performing well, but there isn’t anything there that can help out our ailing pitching staff.
