Draft Pool Announced
Scouts are scattering across the globe and all over the world as the 2009 first-year player draft is announced. Who will draft the ideal prospect and who will find the diamond in the rough.
The top players available (in no particular order) are:
1. Charles Green, 19 year old short stop out of high school
2. Joseph McKay, 17 year old starting pitcher out of high school
3. Jim Carlisle, 17 year old starting pitcher out of high-school
4. Dale Brown, 20 year old starting pitcher out of college
5. Rick Hansen, 17 year old starting pitcher out of college
6. Jason Gross, 22 year old short stop out of college
7. River Johnson, 20 year old center fielder out of college
8. Ramon Buenvenida, 21 year old third basement out of college
9. Ken Melanson, 23 year old starting pitcher out of college
10. Donnie Martin, 20 year old starting pitcher out of college
Our draft position is 29th, so we won’t see any of these players when it comes to our selection. Davis will spend the next 30 days traveling the country to scout the draft pool to prepare for the draft.
