The Mallards continue to hover right at the .500 mark. The bullpen is pretty shaky and costing the team a few games down the stretch, which could prove to be the difference at the end of the season.

The Madison Mallards have released a statement confirming the trade of SP Juan Ramirez (1-1, 2.89) for Sixto Rojas (8-2, 2.44, 48IP, 4/37 BB/K ratio). The deal was finalized today.

The fans were slightly disappointed at this trade, but Ramirez was signed short term to get us through our injuries and I really need to beef up the bullpen.
