Tight Races In Only 3 IPA Divisions
With only two weeks remaining, there are only three races still in doubt in the Islandian Pro Alliance. The other five divisions, barring any late-season collapses or red-hot runs, should end up the way they are going into the final days of the season. In the Ruthlandian Union two of the divisions are still much in doubt. The RU East is a two-team tussle with Sugar Valley possessing a one-game margin on the Elnora All-Stars with 15 games left on the schedule. In the wild RU West it's a 5-team battle. Volusia hold a 2-game lead over Colfax, 3 games over Sligo and Fort Benton, who are deadlocked for third place, and 4 games ahead of fifth-place Forest City. The LaGrange Sports pulled away from Kilkenny and Far Mountain in August and soared way ahead with a 10-game edge in the RU North. The Waleska Westerners are far ahead in the RU South, leading runner-up St. John by 12 games.
In the Tycobbian Union Fairfax and defending Pro Cup titleholder North Hills are still running neck-and-neck in the TU North, separated by just one game. That's the only race still in question. With a 13-game lead San Alejo will soon cinch in the TU South. Likewise for Chicopee in the TU West, which has an 11-game edge. Tuckanarra looks like it will coast in the TU East with its 7-game lead over second place Ozarka.
