Yup, that's probably it - we had someone getting the same error message earlier in the day, and he had just done a system restore. Installing the file available at Download Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center fixed it for him, apparently something had gone wrong with his C++ runtime files. Give that a shot and let me know if it doesn't work.

I downloaded and installed the file but it is still not working. Keep getting the same error message
