Pretty much describes me perfectly, and I do the same at the minors with top prospects that I want to start, or that I want to learn a new position, etc. And the same with pitchers, if I got a guy I want to be a starter no matter what, I'll set it in the strategy, generally the relievers I let the AI setup however it wants.
Though, I'm going to start a league where I set my lineups and depth charts myself, and sim at a much slower rate than I do with my more "GM" ish leagues.
