Paul Bryar ... Jake Barky Chicago fight manager circa 1879 - 1880 gives Tim kagan to Moody
Daryl Keith Roach ... Tim Kagan (as Daryl Roach) Mom left Joe when Tim was 7, circa 1879-80 as a fighter he's given to Moody to manage. Takes on all comers with $50 to anyine who'll last a round. He is tough but slow and inept as a fighter
Moses Gunn ... Joseph 'Joe' Kagan after an 1865 bout his wife leaves him for not quitting the fight game taking their son age 7. (Appeared to be about 30 at the time.) Already suffering from vision and headaches he has been fighting since he was 14. 14 years later in Walnut Grove he's KO'd by Charles and told to quit fighting by Doc Baker. Spends at least 3 months with Charles recovering. Decides to buy a farm and goes to the capital with Charles. Spots a flier about son Tim fighting. Goes one last bout vs. Tim, knocking him out and convincing him he has no hope in the fight game.
