April 1-7
Well, this wasn't exactly the start we were hoping for. After a solid 4-1 win on opening day in Arizona, we lost the next two games by the combined score of 23-5. After losing the opener in San Francisco, it was time for Shelby Miller to make a start. Unfortunately, Miller was only able to pitch two innings due to a high pitch count and hour-long rain delay. Another great outing by Wainwright helped us avoid the sweep.
