Once again Garcia gets hit hard, and our bullpen does not allow us to stay in the game by giving up six runs in the last two innings.

While our pitching was decent, our hitting was nowhere to be found as we totaled just three hits. Despite only pitching 5.2 innings, Lance Lynn was able to strike out 12.

Jake Westbrook pitched well for the second straight outing, but our offense was unable to come alive until the very end, when down by three, we came up just short.
Well, I was certainly expecting more out of our first home series of the year. Our bullpen continues to struggle, and it appears that this could be a long season without Jason Motte. Matt Carpenter has been one of the only bright spots of our team, hitting .333 with 4 homers.
Pete Kozma is off to a dreadful 2-31 start, so he has been sent down to AAA. Replacing him will be 23-year old Greg Garcia. Garcia has no MLB experience, but he was off to a good start in the minors, hitting .344 in 8 games.

Brewers OF Norichika Aoki suffered a strained hamstring, and is out for six weeks.
