Adam Wainwright held New York to just one hit over seven innings, and our bullpen came in to slam the door to take game one of the series.

Balls were flying out of Citi Field when we were up, as we hit five homers in the game. Jaime Garcia pitched well in his 5th win of the season.

Our bullpen pretty much gave this one away as we allowed 7 runs in the last three innings.

Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg shuts out Colorado, striking out 8 in a 7-0 victory.
Pittsburgh trades 1B Jerry Sands to Oakland for 3B Hiroyuki Nakajima.
Washington trades CF Corey Brown to the Mets for 2B Justin Turner.
