Edit their stats. I did this in one of my fictional leagues. I had a player hit 90 HR in 144 games and the next year he was on pace to hit 112 HR so i edited his stat line from .345 45 HR 36 2B 1 3B 112 BB 2 HPB 43 K to .275 10 20 0 50 1 50 and he hit .287 7 hr in the next 50 g to finish at .413 57 165 RBI 143 BB. i have never edited a player to give him better output then what he was already doing with the exception of editing 2012 stats for players in the quickstart after the season had ended.
